Karen Matsiko is a globally recognised finance executive and strategic advisor with over 20 years of experience shaping trade finance, investment and growth strategies across Wall Street and Africa. As Head of Trade Finance for DP World Sub-Saharan Africa, she built and led a greenfield platform integrating logistics, finance and technology, unlocking capital for African businesses and redefining inclusive finance. Her career includes leadership roles at Citigroup, UBS, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse and Absa, where she managed multimillion-dollar cross-border portfolios and structured innovative, scalable, and commercially sound trade solutions. Karen is renowned for bridging global capital with African opportunity, empowering organisations to deliver results that are financially robust, socially impactful and sustainably transformative.
